Message from the vice Governor
Welcome to our Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Cagayan Website!
A warm welcome to my fellow Cagayanos! This Website contains the essential and fundamental information relative to the mandate of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Cagayan, in particular the passage of ordinances, approval of resolutions, and the allocating of funds for the benefit of the province and its citizens.
As we want to ensure that the Cagayanos are adequately informed on the laws and resolutions that influence their rights and interests, we bring you this Official Website where you may find a list, a reference, and a manual for the Provincial Orders and Decisions that the Provincial Board has approved.
With the launching of this website, I hope and pray that more people in Cagayan will be aware of the SP’s numerous projects and programs as well as the ordinances and resolutions that they have passed and successfully implemented. May this endeavour make everyone aware that your Provincial government is working as a cohesive unit to bring sustainable progress and development to every community in our beloved province. The Sangguniang Panlalawigan,
As the Legislative Body of the Provincial Government, is primarily responsible in enacting ordinances, approving resolutions and appropriating funds for the general welfare of the province and its inhabitants.
Vision
A PROVINCIAL LEGISLATIVE BODY that is independent, pro-active, and responsive to the needs, dreams and aspirations of the Cagayano people working together in peace and harmony, guided by the Divine Providence with firm commitment in the ultimate priority of the general welfare of the people through quality and state of the art legislation
Mission
Mission
WE, therefore commit ourselves to:
1.Enact quality legislation relevant to the socio-economic and political situation in the Province of Cagayan;
2. Maintain independence as a co-equal and coordinate branch of the provincial government;
3. Enact legislative measures in accordance with the Local Government Code and the goals of the Provincial Government; and
4. To render selfless public service, as representatives of the people and an improved system of local governance that would lead towards attainment of a better quality of life for all.
