In a recent initiative aimed at enhancing local infrastructure, 2nd District Board Member Kevin Timbas distributed monoblock chairs to two key organizations in Cagayan. The beneficiaries included the Federation of Senior Citizens of Lasam and the Dungao Integrated School of Sto. Niño.
The monoblock chairs, supplied by the Provincial Government of Cagayan, were presented to the Federation of Senior Citizens of Lasam, which boasts over 100 members. The senior citizens expressed their gratitude for the donation, noting that the new chairs will greatly improve their comfort and social interactions. “We are thankful for the monoblock chairs that will enable us to have a comfortable and dignified place to sit and socialize,” a representative from the Federation remarked.
At the Dungao Integrated School of Sto. Niño, the donation was met with enthusiasm from both students and faculty. School Principal Mrs. Paz Piñera praised the contribution, stating, “We are so happy to have new chairs that will make our learning experience more enjoyable and comfortable.” The new chairs are expected to enhance the educational environment for students and provide a more pleasant atmosphere for teachers.
Board Member Timbas, who spearheaded the outreach program, underscored the significance of such contributions in improving the quality of life for his constituents. “Providing necessities like these monoblock chairs is a crucial part of my commitment to enhancing the living conditions and educational experiences of the people in our district,” Timbas said.
The distribution of the monoblock chairs reflects ongoing efforts by local government officials to address community needs and support institutional welfare.
