A ceremony took place today at the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, Provincial Capitol, as Vice Governor Melvin K. Vargas, Jr. was formally donned the rank of Major in the Reserved Army Force. Maglalang, other officials and reserved officers from the 201st Reserved Infantry Battalion.
